About the Role

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse

• Load and unload delivery trucks with materials and products according to schedules and delivery requirements

• Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper working condition and report any maintenance issues

• Complete equipment maintenance documentation accurately and submit reports in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate inventory records and verify shipment contents against documentation

• Follow all warehouse safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment

• Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas using safe lifting techniques and proper equipment

• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling materials according to specifications

• Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding inventory status and workflow

• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed

Requirements


  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting


  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols


  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift


  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory


  • Basic math skills for counting and verifying shipment quantities


  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment


  • Dependable with strong work ethic and consistent attendance record


  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and stand for extended periods


  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems preferred


  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed
